Phenylethyl Resorcino CAS NO. 85-27-8 is an effective whitening ingredient with strong antioxidant effects, strongly inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase and thereby reducing the production of melanin.

Skin tests have shown that under conditions not exposed to light, a 0.5% concentration of Phenylethyl Resorcino CAS NO. 85-27-8 is more effective than a 1% concentration of kojic acid. Phenylethylresorcinol has been approved for use as a cosmetic ingredient in cosmetics.
