Phloretin CAS NO. 60-82-2 belongs to the plant polyphenols of dihydrochalcone, which can be extracted from apple and pomelo peels and can protect plants from UV damage.

For human skin, root bark extract has strong antioxidant properties and photoprotective effects (it can eliminate the increase of free radicals in the skin caused by ultraviolet radiation and damage to cells and DNA). Phloretin CAS NO. 60-82-2 can also inhibit the activity of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP-1) and elastase, which can degrade the connective tissue of the skin and play an important role in promoting skin photoaging.

Phloretin CAS NO. 60-82-2 is a dihydrochalcone found in the bark of pears, apples, cherries, and other fruits. Phloretin CAS NO. 60-82-2 also inhibits various urea transporter proteins. When combined with a high protein diet, it causes a decrease in urea and has a diuretic effect.
