Tetrandrine is a component extracted from the dried roots of the traditional Chinese medicine tetrandrine, which is a pure wild medicinal material. The tetrandrine grows on the edge of mountains, hills, grasses or underforests. In the stratum below one meter deep, it can tolerate dryness and drought. Due to insufficient soil nutrients in the deep layer, the growth cycle is long. Generally, tetrandrine needs to grow underground for several years or even over ten years.

The effective ingredients of tetrandrine are alkaloids, mainly tetrandrine A and tetrandrine B. The total content of alkaloids is 1.5% ~ 2.3%, mainly tetrandrine A, the content is about 1%, tetrandrine B, the content is about 0.5%, and the content of cyperanol, the content is 0.2%; and others Several trace alkaloids.
