Theobromine CAS NO. 83-67-0 is white needle shaped crystals or crystalline powders with a bitter taste. The main bitter ingredients of chocolate. Theobromine CAS NO. 83-67-0 melting point 357 ºC, sublimation at 290-295 ºC. Theobromine CAS NO. 83-67-0 solubility in water is about 0.05%, about 0.66% in hot water, and about 0.045% in 95% ethanol, soluble in alkaline solutions and concentrated acids. It has a diuretic effect.
